JAMES ISLAND
April 15-17: Our second overnight trip, accually 2 nites, the cute little James Island, also a state park  and only able to get there by boat. This island had a small dock that we stayed at.  Our neighbors consisted of the captain of the Cutty Sark and 15 middle schoolers camping for the week-end.
There was a 1 mile loop trail around the southend of the Island, and a make-your own trail around the steep rocky northend.
Several great beaches of drift wood, shells and rocks.
and Lots of Bald Eagles soaring.
