| We left Monterey about 11:30 am, this was going to be our (my) first night sail. It's about 85 miles between Monterey and the first cove to anchor in, San Simeon, with not a lot of scenery, lots of dry hills with a few green Civilization spots scattered in along the way. We traveled about 3 miles off shore going about 6 knots. Lots of birds, seals and we did see 1 gray whale. | |||||||||||||||||
