SOUTHERN        CROSSING

March 3rd, 2009

We are leaving Mexico Mainland and heading Northwest across the Sea of Cortez toward La Paz, then Northward into some of the Islands.

Last night at the El Cid, this Heron was enjoying a fish.

We left at sunrise Tuesday the 3rd and arrived in Muertos the following afternoon, just under 200 miles.  Seas were flat as you can see.  We did catch dinner, a Dorado.
