LOGS & QUARRIES

Rock Quarry (above),  Tugs moving a log boom (below): these logs are all tied together and they move them down the water passages.  This boom was just before we got to Grise Point.

Have you ever gone to sleep and woke up wondering where you are? These Seals were all sleeping on the log boom as it moved down stream.

We stayed in Westveiw a couple days at the dock, relaxed on the boat reading,  went shopping (there was a WAL-MART!), visited antique shops, several bookstores and a really good bakery.
